HARRY CHAPMAN & DAN GOVER RE-SIGN

We are delighted to announce the re-signing of Harry Chapman and Dan Gover.

Tom Tsang said:

"Harry burst into the side midway through the year due to an injury at fullback, an opportunity he took with both hands. He made several key contributions and showed a streak of real attacking flair that is quite rare. He has some areas of his game that still need to be worked on, but he has a tonne of potential and I am very excited to work with him again in 2018."

Harry commented:

"I am really happy to have signed with the Bears for another year. I feel over the last couple of seasons I have gained valuable experience and am looking forward to developing further and hope we can have a successful season."

Tom said:

"Dan joined us last season, having previously played for local teams Coventry Dragons and Coventry University RL. He worked very hard through pre-season and earned regular playing time. He is a very fit and mobile front-rower. Physically he meets the demands of League 1 well and with another good preseason under his belt he will be a real handful for opposition defences. He is still new to the game and learning, but he is like a sponge and I am confident he has the potential to make a difference in games next season."

Dan said:

"I am really happy to be signing for the bears again this year. I am looking to be pushing on and developing further than I have this season.

Despite the up and down year, I feel confident after getting this season under my belt I will keep getting better and better playing at this level."
