Bears add more quality with the signing of Jonathan Miliszewski

The club is delighted to announce the signing and addition of Jonathan Miliszewski to the squad for 2016. Jonathan is a dynamic second rower or centre from Australia who holds a polish passport, and will add more experience and size to the Bears pack.
Bears Tom Tsang commented on the new signing:
Jono is another quality signing for us as we approach the start of pre-season. As a contracted player for Norths Devils in Brisbane, Australia - the same club that front rower James Geurtjens came from - Jono joins with a good reputation and strong background in the game. He is a tough and has a hard hitting defensive style as well as knowing his way to the try line, Jono has also represented his Country, playing a key role in the Australian Universities RL representative programme in 2014.
Jono commented; “I’m excited about coming over to the UK next season and challenging myself in a different competition. The Coventry Bears are the sort of club I want to be involved with and are on the up and I can’t wait to get involved.”
