ALEX BEDDOWS & JOHN ALDRED RE-SIGN FOR 2018

"John and Alex both re-sign for their forth seasons at the Bears. Both players have shown steady improvement through their first three seasons at League 1 level and are now poised to make the leap into bone fide players at this level.
John was unfortunate with some injuries this year which held him back in terms of game time, but when he did play he proved he can be a damaging ball carrier at this level. Alex also had his share of injuries, but demonstrated in the last month of games that he too can be a real handful for opposition defenses. Alex has now knocked up over 30 League 1 games for us and so we will look for him and John to continue leading the team in terms of attitude and effort and I am confident that they can make a big impression on the league next year."

I'm really glad to be with the Bears for my 4th year. The season just gone didnt go how anyone wanted, but we know where it went wrong and everyone at the club - players and coaches want to right the wrongs for 2018 season.
On a personal level it means a lot to represent my home city and I want to put a big marker down this season. I did some good things this year but there is still a lot in my game to work on and I cant wait to get into preseason with the lads to improve my game!
